CityPass Question

HI!

We plan on buying CityPasses for our July vacation. We are a family of 5 and this looks like the way to go (I will be checking all the prices one more time before committing to the passes).. All of us will go to 3 of the attractions and 3 will be going to one extra (boys day at Adler while the girl%26#39;s hit American Girl Place:o).

I%26#39;m getting to the question.....my youngest will be 3 1/2 at trip time. Of the attractions we will be visiting he can get in free to all but one. I hate to stand in line at the aquarium to buy one child%26#39;s ticket if the rest of us have passes %26amp; can go right in. Are the lines terribly long? Should we buy ahead online? We would never try %26amp; get him in free (it%26#39;s free for those UNDER three). He is 3 1/2 and looks like he%26#39;s 4 1/2-5 years old.

Would you buy your CityPasses online or at the first attraction you visit? We are coming from Va (Road Trip! YIKES!). This will be our first time to Chicago and we are very excited.

TIA for any tips or advice,

Bren

CityPass Question

The lines at the Shedd can get pretty long, especailly in the summer. Go early.

If the price is the same online vs in-person, buy them online. If there%26#39;s an additonal charge, buy them in person. If the Shedd%26#39;s going to be your first stop, them get them online.

CityPass Question

Dave,

Thanks for the heads up. With three kids we may even bite the bullet %26amp; pay the few extra dollars to get the little guys ticket online (early).

I%26#39;m learning a lot of helpful information from this forum. I%26#39;ll be back with more questions, I%26#39;m sure, as our travel date approaches.

Bren

You%26#39;re welcome. One more suggestion, you might want to price out the cost of a family membership at the Shedd vs buying the City Pass. Sometimes it works to your advantage to buy a membership for the family vs individual tickets.
