So, my story is that I grew up in the NW. suburbs and left for college. My Chicago was as a local tourist: Taste of Chicago, Wendella, Navy Pier, John Hancock, etc.
Now that I%26#39;m over 21 (way over 21), my wife and I are visiting and want to show her more of the authentic Chicago that is non-touristy.
Our past few visits, we%26#39;ve been to Millenium Park, Superdawg, Wrigleyville, Rosebud, and Italian Village just to name a few.
Right now we only have a Sox game planned. Any thoughts on how to fill up the upcoming weekend? Is it too early for Summer festivals and block parties? How about a good outdoor bar near downtown? Are there any areas we should hang around?
Thanks again.
Last Question: Any ';have-to-do's'; while in town?
