Two nights of a night mare are waiting for us in Chicago....

If I don’t get a better place….(just reading the reviews scared me¡¡) hostelz.com/l/es/hostel/499-Arlington-Intern…

We are a married couple in our early filthiest from Guadalajara, traveling to Chicago for first time, our fly arriving Monday 4 June ( Yes I know...too late for us- the convention-).

I must find a place as closets to down town as possible (my wife doesn’t speak English, now I’m using my dictionaries and computer corrector)

Last time we were in USA people weren’t friendly. They don’t realize that we are just TOURIST, and no another “foreigner persons living in USA, lost in its way” so I don’t want to take chances expecting get patients help, ones we are there.

We were invited to a College graduation in Cincinnati, and we tough to stay in Chicago in our way. Hotels near the airports fit our $, but I don’t think we can make it for directions with transportation. I don’t think the buss stop is just a few blocks from hotels, seems is ok if you drive car.

We must leave to Cincinnati from Chicago Union Station (Mega-bus) at 11 p.m. so we need to be as closets as possible (luggage- and night transportation)

Any help with information trying to get 100 us a night will be very appreciate.

Sergio and his apprehensive wife.

¿does Chicago has “casa de huespedes” or nuns houses, etc?

Hello Sergio-

I saw your great information on the Guadalajara section of tripadvisor as we are going to visit your wonderful city for the first time in July. I have so many questions to ask you. But- first I wanted to let you know that we live in the Chicagoland area and would be glad to answer any of your questions.

As far as a hotel is concerned, I would consider bidding for one on priceline.com. You can get some great hotels in the core downtown area for reasonable cost. Try looking on biddingfortravel.com first to get an idea of what others have won recently and for what cost. Then look at the reviews on this site.

If you need any help figuring it all out, please let me know.

Chicago is a wonderful city with so much to offer and the people are very friendly- so tell your wife not to worry.

Julie
