Whitehall Hotel

There appears to be a good deal for this hotel at www.easyclicktravel.com

I think it may be too good to be true, but as a frequent lurker, thought someone here might have some insight into this.

The room is a ';standard'; room. Does anyone know what the standard room might be like? (The hotel%26#39;s website only has superior rooms listed and other websites have 1 price for standard and king rooms).

If you have booked with easyclicktravel.com are they reputable?

If you have stayed at the Whitehall, what major chain would you compare it to (ie Marriott, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, etc).

I appreciate all and any insight anyone has.

Whitehall Hotel

The Whitehall is an independent, older/historic boutique hotel; it%26#39;s not really possible to compare it to a ';chain'; hotel.

The Whitehall has seemingly worked with easyclicktravel for a while. I always see very low prices for the Whitehall on easyclicktravel that are often as much or more than 50% off.

I%26#39;ve seen a few complaints regarding ECT, but most comments have been positive.

Keep in mind that, in a discount situation like this, you%26#39;re likely (well, lets say ';almost certainly';) getting the most basic room offered. I would definitely not keep your hopes up about the room. The room is likely one of their Standard Full rooms.

The Whitehall is located half a block from Michigan Ave. shopping. Water Tower Mall and the Hancock Observatory are right there.

If you%26#39;d like me to do some research as to what else is available for your dates, please let me know your dates of travel and max budget.

Dvd - Thank you! That would be awesome!! We are going the week after the marathon. We are actually going out for the marathon (10/7) as my cousin and uncle are running, and staying with relatives Saturday through Tuesday, but want to stay on longer at a hotel on our own to see Chicago, so possibly until the next Saturday or Sunday.

We did consider renting a condo from someone, but I am a little worried as that isn%26#39;t regulated at all.

This is my message and it is being attributed elsewhere!

Strange - maybe the virtual lines were crossed somehow? Could you be more specific about your dates - are you looking for 10/10-13 or around there? Budget?
