Best route from Union Station to Soldier Field

Just wondering what some of you locals would do for the best route to Soldier Field from Union Station? I%26#39;m coming in on METRA and am willing to do bus or train to get there. Any thoughts?

Catch the Number 126 bus on Jackson and Canal eastbound. Take that to State Street and transfer to a Number 146 southbound. That bus will take you directly to Soldier Field.

You could also walk from Union Station to State Street, it%26#39;s about three-quarters of a mile and very scenic. You%26#39;d walk through the financial district and across the river. If the weather is good, you could also walk the entire distance to Soldier Field, it%26#39;s just over 2 miles.
