I will be in Chicago and attending a concert at Toyota Park. I would like to stay in the downtown area, but want to know about transportaion to and from Toyota Park on the day of the event. How much would a cab fare be from Downtown to Toyota Park and how hard is it to get a cab after the event back downtown? The venue web site says that there is a taxi stand and there are taxis after the event, just want to verify.

I%26#39;d say a rough estimate from downtown by cab would be about $35-40 each way.

You could take the Orange Line from downtown to Midway. Pace (the suburban bus system) runs an express route between the Midway transit center and Toyota Park on event days.

The buses begin 2 hours before the event and continue until 30 minutes after it ends. The last Orange Line train to the loop is around 1 am. The trip would cost you $2.25 each way if you don%26#39;t use a visitor pass.

What about a cab from Swissotel to the United Center? Could you tell me what that run? We%26#39;re coming in for a conference.

Right now we%26#39;re driving into the city, but may consider bringing train.
