Want to see the Cubs and White Sox play the Blue Jays the last weekend of July. Should I buy tickets ahead of time or will (at least) bleacher seats (or whatever you call the cheap seats) always be available? (We are Blue Jays Fans coming from Canada)
Also, what is a good place to stay convenient to both ball parks?
PS. I just got back today from 5 days in your WONDERFUL city and can%26#39;t wait to come back. It is the absolute best city I have ever been! I have never met such nice helpful people or been to so many fantastic restaurants in my life!

Glad to hear you had so much fun in Chicago! :-)
What dates are you looking to stay and what would be your budget per night for hotel? I%26#39;d be happy to help with some hotel recommendations.

Cubs tickets should be bought in advance, as should Sox tickets. While there may be scalpers selling tickets outside the stadium, I personally think it%26#39;s best to have tickets in-hand so you%26#39;re assured of a seat.
We would like to stay July 28, 29 and 30th. Budget-less than $200.
Thanks.
So happy you enjoyed your recent stay in Chicago! Now you know why Chicagoans are so proud to show off our hometown to others.
Sorry to stray from the object of your post but just wanted to pop in and mention a couple of other things besides baseball games happening that weekend, in case you%26#39;re interested.
Saturday, July 28, is Venetian Night at the lakefront (around Monroe Harbor). There is a free outdoor concert at Millennium Park as well. Like all good things that are free, be prepared for a big crowd, though.
And, if you enjoy reading, the Newberry Library Book Fair is the entire weekend. You can really find some great buys there.
And the Bughouse Square Debates in Washington Park (immediate to the Newberry Library) are interesting to watch - and based on an important part of our city%26#39;s history. You could join in, too, if you wish. Soapboxes are for all.
7/28-31 is a toughie as for reasonable hotels at the $200 range.
Quikbook has the Raffaello for $201; that hotel is right behind the Hancock Observatory and Water Tower Mall, a block from Michigan Ave. Quikbook also has the Comfort Inn Downtown for $182.
