I am visiting Chicago next month and I thought I would have a cocktail in the above bar. According to a guide book I was reading it gets extremely busy from early on almost as soon as it opens.

Does anyone know if this is correct and what time would I need to get there to get a seat with a view?

Final question can anyone recommend a cocktail to try there?

I%26#39;ve been there about 10 times over the last two years and never have had more than a 20 minute wait...I tend to ge at night, but have found that the couple of times I do go during the day, there is very little wait. I think pretty much all of the seats have a good view, but if you want to be by the window I%26#39;m not sure how much longer you%26#39;d have to wait...I think most people tend to take whatever seat is given to them, so it may not be much of an additional wait.

I the menu is full of martinis...the exact martini you get will depend on your tastes...I think I get the Michigan Ave Martini...one of the few that isn%26#39;t fruity or chocolatey...I prefer to taste my liquor.l
