?Great Eateries naer Lisle?

I%26#39;m looking for suggestions for breakfast---are there any really good mom and pop diners or waffle places or anything like that (where they refill the coffee without your asking and the home fries are homemade...that sort of place. No IHOPS or chains...

I%26#39;m also looking for suggestions in that area for dinner. Are there any really great and yet inexpensive places to find good food?

Any good steak houses in the area?

I%26#39;m getting hungry just typing this!!!

Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Dave%26#39;s website recommendations is dead on.

A lot of Lisle is more of a commercial/business area or district. To go out for Dinner, I would recommend going to Naperville (my guess is that you will need and will have a car??). Downtown Naperville is cute. My fave restaurant there is a tapas place call Meson Sabika (not part of a chain). The restaurant is a beautiful Victorian house and prices are reasonable. On Saturdays, they have flamenco dancers that work their way around the restaurant.

There are wonderful ma and pas in lisle. The best and most popular ';breakfast/lunch diner type'; is Grama%26#39;s on Rt. 53/Main St. Lisle just south of Maple/Chicago Ave. Number 2 pick would be Grama Sally%26#39;s on Ogden Ave. west of Rt. 53/Maple. And number 3 is Arbor on Ogden and Yackley. They are not related.

For dinner, Meson Sabika in Naperville is great, also Bavarian Lodge on Ogden in Lisle is very good german food and very reasonable. Down Rt. 53/Maple there are several restaurants by the theatre area. Superosa%26#39;s is nice inexpensive iltalian and there is a great new type sushi bar called Blue Corral. Downtown Naperville has anything you want for dinner and bars but you need to be selective for inexpensive, I would do Potters/Mexican outdoors or Jimmy%26#39;s/outdoors. Both places get very busy so go early or expect to wait. For steak mmmm lots of good places in Naperville but I wouldn%26#39;t call them inexpensive. If you find several restaurants on line post them back and I%26#39;ll give you a review...Been to most of them. There is a steak dining restaurant on Rt. 53 in Lisle called Raymes--haven%26#39;t been there but my brother-in-law loves the oysters.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was early this morning, The first breakfast place on 53/Main St. is called Grannies. I eat there every chance I get-we tend to do omelettes and skillets rather than waffles but their pancakes are good too. Great oj also. If you look up places and need feedback let me know. We have GREAT midwest pizza around Lisle: Dan%26#39;s double-decker/Downers Grove (very unique and wonderful), Rosati%26#39;s thin crust/woodridge on 63rd, Lou Malnatti%26#39;s veggie/Naperville. I go to each of those locations depending on what kind I want. The first two are carryout/delivery and locally owned but Lou%26#39;s has a nice place to eat in.
