Bachelorette Party ideas?

I%26#39;m throwing a bachelorette party for my best friend in late June. We%26#39;re looking to get a suite in a hotel to have drinks and food and then go out to the bars. We%26#39;re not looking for any strippers but we are a young group of 10-12 women in our mid-twenties to early thirties who want to have a good time.

Does anyone have any ideas what hotel we should stay at and/or what bars we should hit?

Please be more specific - how many rooms, budget per room? I%26#39;d be happy to help do some research, but it%26#39;s hard to know what to recommend without more about what you%26#39;re looking for in terms of hotel.

I%26#39;m going to leave it up to my guests to get their own rooms so I would like to keep the budget reasonable for those guests. I don%26#39;t really know what the price is for a hotel in Chicago? For the suite I was thinking around $350 - $400 but could go higher if that%26#39;s not a reasonable amount. I was thinking maybe 4 of us could stay in the suite and then block off a few rooms for the remaining ladies to get on their own.

What are the date(s)? The Indigo would be a cute hotel for a bachelorette party (just throwing out ideas, there%26#39;s certainly other options), but there%26#39;s no suites at the Indigo.

Depending on the date (especially the last few days of June), you should probably be looking at around $200-300 a room a night, depending on the exact date and hotel. Definitely depends on the date, though.

I was looking at June 30th but am pretty flexible. We could also do it the weekend before or after.

I have recently posted bar ideas for a bachlorette party...please search the forum for previous posts.

My suggestionf for a hotel is the Holiday Inn on Harrison. We stayed there a couple years ago for my friend%26#39;s bachelorette party. It has an outdoor pool, so we just brought snacks and drinks out there and hung out a few hours before hitting the bars.

What kind of bars are you looking for? More of a laid back loungy place or more of a party? I%26#39;ve been to many bachelorette parties at the Baton Club and that%26#39;s always a good time, although not for everyone.

If the Cubs are in town, Wrigleyville bars will be rocking

We stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown (I think it is on Ohio) for my bachelorette party. The people staying in the room get breakfast included and some drink coupons for the nightly happy hour. You have easy access to many bars from this location- Dicks Last Resort (great fun spot for dinner, drinks, fun), Navy Pier, Rockit Bar, O%26#39;Callahan%26#39;s (went last weekend and really liked it).....Lots of great options.

Have fun!

Great ideas! I think that the Holiday Inn on Harrison seems in our price range and has a suite available that night. What are some good bars that are in the area?
