Friday at Wrigley

So I was able to find tickets for the Cubs game Fr. June 1st and I%26#39;m excited. The game starts at 1ish so I was wondering if there was a good place to grab breakfast/brunch with some beer near the stadium. Also, we will be coming from Downer%26#39;s Grove and haven%26#39;t decided how we%26#39;re going to get to the stadium. Any suggestions?

Wrigleyville has many restaurants and bars. You can walk the area

around Wrigley and take your pick. Murphy%26#39;s Bleachers on Sheffield

is right across the street. Enjoy the game.

Just thought of another place for great burgers and a beer:

Mullens on Clark - Just a couple of blocks south of Wrigley

You can take a Pace bus from Lombard - pacebus.com/sub/…cubs_roundtripper.asp

For dining options take a look at metromix.com and chicagoreader.com. You can do a search by location, cuisine etc.

My girlfriend takes the bus from Lombard mall and I either drive or take the train then walk from Union to the L (OH and stop of at Bergoff%26#39;s Cafe for a beer) then take the red line up to Addison. But best check to see about construction on the L. If you elect to drive the best route is 88 straight in to Lake Shore fo North to Belmont then west to Broadway an d North to Addison. Either way all these routes will take about 1.5 hours.
