Looking for some shopping advice...

I%26#39;m traveling out to Chicago and going to be staying at the Hyatt near O%26#39;hare off the Blue Line. Normally when I travel I like to stock up on snacks and bottled water so I don%26#39;t have to pay ridiculous hotel prices. Unfortunately on this trip I will not have a rental care. Can anyone advise if there are any grocery stores or target/walmart locations that are accessible from the L, and are in areas that are generall considered safe for walking through?

Thanks!

There%26#39;s a Target in Rosemont. But it%26#39;s not within walking distance of your hotel.

However, one stop east (towards downtown) on the Blue line train is Cumberland. There%26#39;s a Dominicks grocery store just north of the train station on Cumberland. The exact address is 1900 S Cumberland Ave. Park Ridge, IL. It%26#39;s prefectly safe for walking.

There%26#39;s a Dominick%26#39;s (full service grocery) store north of the Blue Line at Cumberland in Park Ridge. It%26#39;s a very safe area, but will be a bit of a walk.

Thanks all! I just can%26#39;t stand paying $6 for bottled water in a mini-bar.
