Is there anything for a 2 year old to do at six flags? IS it worth the expense for 2 adults and our kid to go? Will six flags be packed over memorial day weekend, and if they are how are they crowd wise like say on a tuesday?
Thanks
Six Flags with 2 year old??Six Flag is probably not a good idea with a 2-year old. There are only a few rides for a 2-year old and they are spread out.
A good place to go to for an amusement park is Kiddieland in Melrose Park (North Ave. and 1st Ave.). Most of the rides there are good for a 2-year old and even some good rides for the adults to join in the fun.
Six Flags with 2 year old??If you go to Kiddieland you will be right by the best Ribs in Chicago.

Your child might enjoy one of children%26#39;s museums more, either the Chicago one (on Navy Pier) or the north shore one, named Kohl%26#39;s (off of Willow Road between Northbrook and Glenview). There is also one in the western suburbs.
After reading the posts here and the reviews it doesnt sound like a good idea for six flags. Seems like it would be very crowded mem day weekend and probably more troube than its worth. Thanks for the suggestions, well check out kiddieland, thanks!
six flags is opening up a new section for kids this year with several new rides based around ';the wiggles'; tv show, so there is more for little kids now. memorial day will probably be very crowded, though.
If you are still on yes six flags is great for 2 year olds. They have a completely different section within the park with one entrance so you can keep track of the child. My 2 year old spent the day in that one section and that was before they added the new items this year. It will be a bit out of your way so if you are only going for 2 year old take them to Navy Pier childrens musuem instead.
