Here%26#39;s a Chicago hotel deal that deserves its own Navy Pier fireworks show! For an unbelievable $109, you can stay at the AAA 4-Diamond Swissotel Chicago from July 1-Sept. 7 -- 7 days a week. That even includes Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends!

A rate this hot in the middle of summer is almost unheard of. Rooms at this hotel run upwards to $399 over these same dates!

Blackout Dates: May 31, July 27-29, Aug 10-15

Travelzoo Hotel Deal: Swissotel $109 7/1-9/7

I got this deal, thanks! I just have a doubt, when I booked my reservation I was asked for number of adults, but not for number of kids. We%26#39;ll have 3 kids 11, 6 and a 2 yo. toddler. Will we have a problem?

Has anybody stayed here with kids before? Do they have cribs or play-pens and were you charged for them?

I already had a $135 rate for the Seneca with a kitchen, and was planning to have breakfast in the room due to our low budget. The Swissotel looks WAY much better, and I didn%26#39;t even hessitate to book it, but now we%26#39;ll have to pay for breakfast somewhere else. Is the Swissotel still a better deal?

IMO you have a much better deal at the Swissotel. The rate can%26#39;t be beat.

HOLY COW. I just booked this! THANK YOU FOR THE LINK. I would not have known!!!

I%26#39;ve never paid so little in Chicago, not even at the Red Roof!

THANKS

Booked it. Awesome price.

I wasn%26#39;t planning a trip to Chicago in September.

Guess I%26#39;ll have to start budgeting/planning.

Not sure whether or not you%26#39;ll have a problem, as while most hotels have a max of 4 per room (and I%26#39;m pretty sure the Swiss falls into this), the 2-yr-old toddler will probably not be ';counted'; towards the max guests.

You will likely be charged for a crib (if they offer them) but not sure how much.

The Swiss website only allows selection of how many adults. You may want to call them because, with 2 adults selected, you may only wind up with 1 bed reserved. 2 kids should not be a problem, but I%26#39;m not sure what they will say regarding three. Maybe you%26#39;d want to not ';confirm'; a toddler - ';I may bring the toddler, or I may leave him/her with a sitter, but if I do bring him/her, is that okay and what is the crib situation?'; Maybe I%26#39;m wrong, but I%26#39;d personally go with that.

I would definitely take the Swiss. You could eat at Corner Bakery down the street, for example.

I%26#39;m so excited! I also booked the Swissotel for this rate. Thanks for the heads up for this deal!

We want to go to Navy Pier and it looks like it%26#39;s not too far away. Walking distance?

I%26#39;m a little disappointed about the $45/day parking fee. But that%26#39;s how it goes.

I%26#39;ve never used a valet service before...how much much are you suppose to tip them?

And, do we have to us the bell hop? We won%26#39;t have much luggage.

So many questions.....

I saw in an earlier positng you said something about a corner bakery for breakfast. Are there any other places close by to get decent breakfast? I%26#39;m sure the restaurant in the hotel will be pricey.

Thanks!

Navy Pier is not far from the Swiss. An easy walk.

Why park at the Swiss? Park at the garage at Millenium Park. www.millenniumpark.org. It%26#39;s much less expensive.

No need to use a bell hop. If they offer, politley say ';no thanks.';

Just west of the Swiss (towards Michigan Ave) is the Illinois Center office building complex. You%26#39;ll find several reasonably priced eateries there. You can also do your own dining searches at metromix.com and chicagoreader.com. You can search by location, cuisine, budget etc.

The wonderful Fox and Obel Cafe and Market is not a far walk (fox-obel.com) and that%26#39;s open early for breakfast. You can also pick up a few treats from there to take back to the room for later. Corner Bakery (one of many in downtown) is located just down the street from the Swiss at Wacker and Michigan (although a little bit West on Wacker from the intersection)

Just booked it! Thanks a bunch. I booked my hotel last April (Courtyard Chicago Mag Mile) thanks to you guys as well. I%26#39;m taking my 9 year old this time - I know he%26#39;ll love the proximity to Navy Pier and the lake.

I forgot something -- Dave, can you elaborate on the parking at Millennium Park? Can you leave your car there for 3 days safely? Thanks!
