Hi..hoping to get some info. There are a group of about 5-6 of us that are turning 40 this year (ugh). We%26#39;re looking to celebrate somewhere fun this August. We%26#39;d love a group of bars in one area. Not the ';club'; scene, but fun dancing or live music would be good. Neighborhood hangouts would be ok too, but we%26#39;d prefer something with a party atmosphere and a (do I dare say) older crowd. Any price range..we%26#39;re splurging and just want to have a great time. Thanks!

I think Rockit would be great!

I REALLY think you%26#39;d like Red Head Piano Bar!
Rockit is a younger crowd unless you go during the week which you%26#39;ll find a business clientele...I think Redhead piano bar or Howl at the Moon would be good. If you want to scumball it check out The Lodge...
Congratulations! Turning 40 is far better than the only alternative.....i.e. NOT turning 40.
Do your recommend for 4 of us who are turning 50 as well? We will be there in mid-June.
As a 45 year old female, I love Bin 36! It has a very lively atmosphere, not too young a crowd and a great wine list. The area downstairs is big and airy, and there%26#39;s a smaller dining area upstairs (dining also downstairs). The food is good, and you can take their wine selections per course or do your own thing. They also have a small store at the door where you can pick up great little gifts.
If the skies are clear the Signature Lounge at the top of the Hancock Building is great for a cocktail. If you%26#39;re going there at the weekend, there may be a line so don%26#39;t leave it too late.
Can%26#39;t really suggest any clubs as I%26#39;m always too tired to stay up that late!!!
Have a great time ladies.
PS. www.metormix.com can give you some good suggestions if you%26#39;re looking for outdoor dining etc.
I 2nd Howl at the Moon! www.howlatthemoon.com
