I have never been to a cub game, and would like to take my son to a game. Does anyone know of a hotel or motel fairly close to Wrigley(with parking)? Also, where is the best place to buy tickets?

Hotel/Motels close to Wrigley
There are very few hotels near Wrigley and, in the case of the more widely known three or four of them (for example, the Best Western Hawthorne Terrace), they are often about the same price as a nice downtown hotel during the Summer. A cheaper option is to stay to the North in Skokie or Evanston and then drive to a CTA station and take that down to Wrigley.
Tickets are expensive and many games either have limited seating or are sold out. Many have had success with stubhub.com.
Hotel/Motels close to Wrigley
If you know the dates you are likely to travel, I can do some research and provide an idea of hotels in different areas. Keep in mind, you will likely pay for parking in hotels around Wrigley and will definitely pay for parking downtown. However, Skokie hotels have free parking.
Super 8 Motel Rogers Park is off the Jarvis stop along the red line.
