Restaurants close to the Omni Hotel?

We will be staying at the Omni Hotel on Michigan Ave and would like to know which restaurants are close (within 3 blocks) and have a good mid-priced lunch and/or dinner. I have not been able to find a map of restaurants by location. Does anyone know of something like this? Thanks!

The Omni is just off Michigan Ave. Within a few blocks there are a wide variety of places in just about every budget. Budgets are subjective. For me, ';moderately priced'; may be $80 per person with wine [I don%26#39;t go out often, but when I do, I tend to choose nice places], while for others, ';moderately priced is $15 per person.

If you provide more detail as to your preferences people can be of more assistance.

A few quick options:

Rosebud on Rush; Giordano%26#39;s Pizza, Pizzeria Due, Gino%26#39;s East Chop House, Capital Grille, David Burke%26#39;s, Osteria via Stato. All are pretty good places and all are within 10 minutes of the hotel by walking.

You can also do your own dining searches by location, cuisine, budget etc at metromix.com and chicagoreader.com.

Thanks. By moderately priced meals, I would say not more than 20 for lunch and not more than 40 for dinner (not including alcohol).

The Omni has a good restaurant, the 676. Lunch is ~$12/entree, and dinner is ~$20/entree.

Bandera, right around the corner, is one of the only restaurants on Michigan Avenue. It%26#39;s on the 2nd floor so you can get a view of the Mag Mile below.

Grand Lux Cafe has an enormous space, also on the 2nd floor overlooking the Mag Mile, but its entrance is on Ontario.

Heaven On Seven shares an address with Grand Lux Cafe - 600 N Michigan - but its entrance is at Rush and Ohio. This is a local Cajun chain restaurant, with the original on Wabash in Jeweler%26#39;s Row (in the Loop one block west of Michigan Avenue).

Tucci Bennucch is a good Italian restaurant located in the Shops at 900 N Michigan, just a couple of blocks north of your hotel.

For deep dish pizza, try Giordano%26#39;s at 730 N Rush St.

There%26#39;s also a food court in Water Tower called Food Life. It%26#39;s not your typical food court. You%26#39;re seated by a hostess, and there are more exotic offerings than bourbon chicken and Arby%26#39;s.
