5/26-5/28 hotels needed for Megabus trip

Traveling with 19 yr old daughter on the Megabus to Chicago for Memorial Day weekend. Looking for the cheapest (under $200) hotels closest to shopping/dining. Willing to walk to see the sights, may take a river and/or walking tour. May see the Blue Man Group or Putnam County Spelling Bee of Wicked. Just want to soak up the ambience of Chicago with our daughter, while she%26#39;s still willing to go, yet we are on a tight budget.

Thanks for all of the help.

Hotwire is showing a lot of availability under $200/night for your dates. Hotwire is prepaid, non-refundable and non-changeable. It%26#39;s an opaque site. You find out the name of your hotel after you%26#39;ve selected the price. If you%26#39;ve never used Hotwire or Priceline, take a look at betterbidding.com for tips.

When choosing your hotel, don%26#39;t be shy about choosing one that seems a little out of the way if it saves you big $$$, as long as it is near public transit. CTA is very affordable and easy to use, especially if you buy the flat rate mulit-day passes that let you ride as much as you want during that period.
