Looking for nightclub in Chicago for 19F/25M couple

Hey all, I%26#39;ve been searching all over for a nightclub in Chicago where I can bring my 19 year old g/f to. She%26#39;s stationed in Great Lakes and I%26#39;m coming up to visit from Orlando, FL. I%26#39;m 25, so yeah, I robbed the cradle, but our maturity level is the same, haha.

Anyway, the 17+ nightclubs I%26#39;ve read about, like Nitro, seem very teenish and a bit too ghetto. Are there any nightclubs that are 18+ women/21+men that play hiphop? We have those here in Orlando, so not sure if there are any there. They generally have a more mature and less ghetto atmosphere. We%26#39;re just looking for a place where we can dance and I can have a few drinks without being hassled.

Zero Gravity is he only good one I know...I used to go there when I was under 21 and it was a very suburban crowd though it had a lot of teenagers. It is in Naperville, which is a hike from Chicago. you also may be too old for it..I know they have an upper limit on age. I haven%26#39;t been there in about 10 years though...don%26#39;t know what it is today. They still advertise though.

In Orlando they have ';nightclubs'; that allow girls 18+ and men 21+ in? That sounds crazy!!!!!!!!!!! Just a recipe for disaster!

No, I have never heard of this. And does not exist in Chicago.

I am not sure a ';17+ nightclub'; would even allow a 25 year old person in. I thought the teen clubs were 16/17 to 20 year olds.

I would suggest go to dinner at a nice place. Try some Chicago things. IE second city, etc... And when your back in Orlando, you can do the Orlando things.

@cpfoutz: Zero Gravity%26#39;s age max is 24 and I%26#39;m 25. But thanks for the reply!

@gregdove: Well, believe it or not, it%26#39;s not a disaster (clubs like Nitro where you%26#39;re at start at 17 and have no age max, which seems more of a disaster to me). Here it does help cater to the college crowd, but there are also 18+ clubs for both men and women that at least keep out the 17 year olds (thus most of the high schoolers). And thanks for the suggestions, but I already plan on doing ';Chicago'; things. I%26#39;ll be there 4 days/3 nights and she really wants to go dancing one night. Also, she%26#39;s in the Navy and won%26#39;t be back in Orlando for a LONG time :( Thanks for trying to help though.

Dragonfly moved from its Gold Coast location to this considerably larger two-floor West Randolph Street spot in 2004. Located in the former Azure space, it offers upscale Szechuan, Hunan and Mandarin cuisine served in a swanky, Asian-inspired red and gold setting. The wine wall remains, although Dragonfly%26#39;s list is considerably smaller than the former meat-heavy tenants (Millennium Steak House also called this space home a few years back). The menu is a duplicate of the State Street location, with favorites like Mongolian steak, sliced flank steak stir-fried with mushrooms, yellow onions and scallions in a wine and hoisin sauce; and the ';dreaming roast duck,'; the chef%26#39;s version of Peking duck. Other options include empress chicken, honey-walnut prawns, and pan-fried noodles. The Asian-inflected cocktail menu features the signature martini made with raspberry sake and amaretto. The large sidewalk cafe is great for people watching in the summer.

mj23, I appreciate the suggestion, but I believe after 10pm when it turns into Flybar, it%26#39;s 21+ and my g/f is 19.

Are there really no 18+ dance clubs to go to in Chicago where a 25 year old won%26#39;t feel like he%26#39;s babysitting? haha

I could be wrong, but pretty much positive there are no nightclub/dance clubs that allow anyone under the age of 21 in Cook County.
