shopping: vintage/thrift shops, designer discounts

hi everyone,

im going to be in chicago for 4 days. i love to shop so i wanna do some damage. i wanna find and go to stores i cant find in CA. especially the vintage, thrift, discount stores that sell 2nd hand or brand name items. im interested in designer discounts (ie chanel hangbags or accessories, etc....). im not expecting some crazy cheap prices but good enough condition for whatever price as long as its not the original price. im in my early 20%26#39;s so i prefer not to go to like ';old people'; store/style. please advise ASAP. THANKS!!

Go to Wicker Park/Bucktown area. Just hop on the blue line and get off at Division and go West. Division and Milwaukee have great seconhand stores, urban outfitter and those type stores. Great bar/food scene there too.

There%26#39;s a great Nordstrom Rack near the Macy%26#39;s on State Street. I found the same pair of designer shoes I had seen at the designer%26#39;s store further up Michigan Ave for less than half the price.

I would go to Bucktown also on division street! There are really cute boutiques along the blocks. Have fun!
