Schaumburg to Barrington

Hi,

I%26#39;m going to be in Chicago for business for a week. My hotel the Springhill Suites is located in Schaumburg but the office is in Barrington. I won%26#39;t have a rental car. Is a taxi the only way I can get to/from the hotel and office? Any help would be appreciated. I%26#39;m traveling tomorrow..

Schaumburg to Barrington

Both cities are served by Metra trains. However, it%26#39;s two different train lines.

It%26#39;s a tough call. You can take a shuttle or cab from your hotel to the Arlington Heights Metra station - metrarail.com/Sched/cnw_nw/cnw_nw.shtml

From there, take a train to Barrington. But if you look at the map, you%26#39;re traveling east to go west. You can also take a cab to the Palatine station. But you%26#39;re halfway to Barrington at that point.

To be honest, it makes more sense from a time and practical point just to take a cab each way. http://www.americantaxi.com/
